Collatz conjecture visualization t-shirt
The Collatz conjecture is a conjecture in mathematics that concerns sequences defined as follows: start with any positive integer n. Then each term is obtained from the previous term as follows: if the previous term is even, the next term is one half of the previous term. If the previous term is odd, the next term is 3 times the previous term plus 1. The conjecture is that no matter what value of n, the sequence will always reach 1.
The design in this t-shirt is a visualization of how the parity changes in the sequence for numbers from 1 to 10000. Depending on weather the number is odd or even the line turns slightly to the left or right. The current design is made in code using Processing, which is a Java based tool created mostly for creative coding.
This t shirt feels soft and lightweight, with the right amount of stretch. It's comfortable and flattering for both men and women. Double stitching on the neckline and sleeves add more durability to what is sure to be a favorite!
